God sent His only son, Jesus, to bridge the gap between Himself and us.

Jesus took all our sins upon himself and died an awful death upon the cross and then rose again. The cross is huge for our faith and it is humbling...

At any moment, Jesus could have called off the horses and been saved, but He knew God's will for him and he used his personal relationship with the Lord to follow through.

We can have the same personal relationship.

He died for us while we were sinners. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, not one person has lived without sin. He didn't wait until we were worthy enough to be saved, but saved us through love.

I am saved by faith. A faith that produces works. I am not saved by faith and works.
